Surgin originally designed Restricted Flow™ tubing for cataract surgery as a way to prevent post occlusion surge during high vacuum levels. This product was licensed to Bausch & Lomb in 2006 and is currently used by ophthalmologists worldwide. Surgin’s success in the ophthalmic market led to new market applications including Restricted Flow™ tubing for arthroscopic surgery and the addition of the StableVac product line.
Headquartered in Irvine, California, Surgin maintains a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with a Class 10,000 clean room for product assembly and packaging. All products pass through a rigorous Quality Assurance Program to ensure that Surgin products meet the highest possible standards. Surgin is certified to ISO 13485 standards.
Surgin sells its products domestically through distributors and independent sales representatives and internationally through independent distributors with coverage across Western Europe, Japan, the Middle East, Australia and China.
